Ottis Roland Eaton Williams was born November 22, 1907 in Sebastian County,
Arkansas to Jasper Solomon & Edna Delana Johnson Williams. The
parents of Ottis were married at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. in 1904. Ottis
married Jewell Harris September 22, 1928 in Sebastian Co., Ar. They both were
residents of Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. at that time.
October 16, 1940 Ottis registered for the military draft at Greenwood, Sebastian Co.,
Ar. He enlisted in the US Army November 19, 1943 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He
served until December 10, 1943. Hie bio below says he served until December 8.
1945 so he may have re-enlisted when his first enlistment was up.
Nothing more is found about his service.
Ottis Roland Eaton Williams passed away October 4, 1997 in Sebastian Co.,
Arkansas. His burial was in Gilliam Cemetery at Witcherville, Sebastian County, Ar.
