Darwin Lowell "Dob" Williams was born March 1, 1921 in South Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Jasper Solomon & Edna Delana Johnson Williams. His biography below
says his wife was Lulu Louise. No record of a marriage has been found and she
is not listed in Gilliam Cemetery where he was buried.
Darwin registered for the military draft February 15, 1942 in San Pedro California but
the registration card shows his home board was Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He
says on his draft card that his place of birth was Greenwood, Arkansas, which is
in South Sebastian Co. He enlisted January 23, 1943 in the Coast Guard and served
until January 8, 1946. Nothing more is known about his service except what
is found in his biography below.
Darwin Lowell "Dob" Williams passed away July 28, 1992 in Arkansas and his
burial was in Gilliam Cemetery in Withcerville, Sebastian Co., Ar.
