Troy Griffin Wilkerson was born January 13, 1919 at Bass Little, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Charley Jefferson & Thursa Griffin Wilkerson. June 23, 1951 he married
Mary Elizabeth Bass.
While living in Placentia, Orange Co., California Troy registered for the military draft
with his home board in Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army November 13, 1942 in
Little Rock, Arkansas. He states he has 2 years of high school and his civil occupation
is "farm hand, fruit." The date for the start of his service was November 23, 1942. He
served until October 29, 1945. His rank was Pfc. Nothing more is known about
his service except what is in his biography below.
Troy Griffin Wilkerson passed away February 13, 2004 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co,
Ar. His burial was in the National Cemetery there.
