Carl Walker was born October 11, 1922 in Diamond Twsp, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Nelson & Henrietta Benson Walker. July 3, 1948, living
in Huntington, Sebastian co., Ar., he married Bobbie Carlene Anthony of
Fort Smith, Sebastian Cc., Ar
On his Social Securith Application he gives his name as Carl Lesley Walker.
That is the only time a middle name is found.
Carl registered for the military draft. The seond time was January 22, 1946
at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. On the front of his draft card it says...."just
discharged". His residence was Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar. He served in the
US Navy and was discharged January 17, 1946. Nothing more is found on his service.
Carl Walker passed away August 20, 1993 in El Paso, Texas.
His first wife Carlene died in 1986. They share a marker at
Memory Gardens of the Valley, Santa Teresa, Dona Ana County, New Mexico.
Apparently he married again as a "Gayle" is mentioned in his obit but there is no record found for that marriage.
