Charles M. Terwilliger

Charles M. Terwillier was born June 1, 1920 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
John Louis & Vora Bird Ervin Terwilliger. February 1, 1941 he
married Roberta Maxine Hough in Crawford Co., Ar. They both resided at Fort Smith, Ar.
Charles enlisted in the US Army as a Private January 6, 1941. He states he has completed
3 years of high school and was presently a memebr of the National Guard in
the Field Artillery.
An exact death date for Charles has not been found. His last known residence was in
Kansas City Missouri in 1989. His wife died in Independence Co., Kansas in 2008.
Her burial was in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her marker is shown below with
reference to her husband. In the 1995 Fort Smith, Ar. City Directory, shown below, they
are listed with his occupation as still in the service.
As of early 2023 he is not listed in the records of the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
