Joseph "Joe" Randolph Stroud was born in Cecil, Franklin Co., Ar. February 26, 1912 to Joseph Edward & Sarah Allie Harrison Stroub. August 29, 1932 he married Fannie Mae Smith of Alma, Crawford Co., Ar. His residence was Cecil, Franklin Co., Ar. Joe registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Island, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army December 13, 1943 at Little Rock, Pulaski Co., Ar. His residence was in Cecil, Arkansas at that time. No discharge date has been found. Joe passed away January 28, 1947. His burial was at Island Cemetery, Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar.
