Oscar Wood Stanley was born October 14, 1924 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Jack & Emma Wood Stanley.

They divorced May 8, 1947 in Sebastian Co., Ar.
September 23, 1947 they re-married at Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar.
At his death in 1965 he was listed as divorced.
Oscar registered for the military draft December 18, 1942 in Ssebastian Co., Ar.
He enlisted in the US Army June 11, 1943, or June 25 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He states he has
completed 3 years of high school. His civil occupation was truck driver. He
served with Co. F, 38th Inf, 2nd Div. He served until January 5, 1946. His
last rank was PFC.
Oscar Wood Stanley was killed in a truck accident April 17, 1965.
He was pronounced dead at Fayetteville, Washington, Co., Ar.
