Dan Stanley was born November 3, 1914 at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Arkansas to
Jack and Emma Wood Stanley. February 24, 1940 he married
Dorothy, maiden name unknown, at Sallisaw, Oklahoma. January 7, 1942
they divorced at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. On September 4, 1949 he married
Myrtle Tadlock from Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. His residence was
Fort Smith, Sebastian Cc., Ar. The marriage was in Crawford Co.
October 16, 1940 Dan registered for the military draft at Belle
Grove School at Fort Smith,
Sebastian Co., Arkansas. At that time he was living in Fort Smith, Ar.
He enlisted in the US Army June 3, 1942 and served until May 25, 1851. His
last rank was Sgt.
Dan Stanley passed away September 13, 1977. His burial was in the
National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Arkansas.
