Troy D. Sharp was born February 17, 1919 Nill Town, Sebastian Co., Arkansas. On the 1920 census Troy, his parents, John S. & Nellie E Willoughby Sharp, and all of his siblings were living at White Oak, Sebastian Co., Ar. Troy married Hallabe Wiley November 14, 1945 at Portland, Multnomah, Co., Oregon. Troy registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at San Fernando, L.A. Calf. Nothing more is known about his time in the service. Troy D. Sharp, Sr. passed away February 13, 2010 at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. Mr. Sharp is survived by three sons: John Sharp of Bozeman, Montana, Troy Sharp, Jr. of Desha, Arkansas, Terry Sharp of Seattle, Washington, six grandchildren Charlotte McNeely, Steve Sharp of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Candice Rogers of Van Buren, Arkansas, Anne Marie Mitchell, Tiffany Sharp, Michael Sharp all of Washington. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one brother Paul Sharp of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, two sisters Dolly Grant of California and Johnnie Faye Evans of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 42 years: Hallabe Sharp. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Hartford Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield Pallbearers were: Jerry Welsh, Lindell Sharp, Steve Sharp, Roger Sharp, Charles Ray Sharp and Travis Rogers. `
