Louis William Schneider

Louis William Schneider was born July 18, 1907 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
His birth parents are not known. He was adopted before 1910 by Hardy &
Maggie Schneider. They are found on the 1910 census in Fort Smith. On September 19, 1926 he married Georgia Columba Sharp
at Fort Smith, where they both resided.
Louis registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Muskogee,
Muskogee Co., Oklahoma. He enlisted in the US Navy April 12, 1944 and served
until December 7, 1945. More about his service is in his biography below.
Louis William Schneider passed away March 19, 1982. His burial was in
Forest Park Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
