William Edward Riley was born May 12, 1916 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Thomas Patrick & Mary Josephine Crawford Riley. April 20, 1938 he married Mildred Viola Silmon in Sebastian Co., Ar. June 6, 1957 he married Minnie Lee Klepper in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. William enlisted in the US Navy, his wervice beginning October 23, 1943 . His discharge was December 8, 1945. His final rank was Bms, boatswain's mate second class. William passed away October 24, 1967 with his burial being in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
