He was born June 28, 1932 in Lavaca, Arkansas the son of the late Dock and Minnie (Parks) Reed. Earl was a retired Electronics Salesman and former owner of Reed's Drive In and Big Burger Drive In , a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church, Fort Smith and a Marine Veteran. Earl was preceded in death by a son, Rick Reed. Survivors include his wife of 67 years; Lena of the home, sister; Alline (Sis) Underwood of Lavaca, Arkansas, daughter in law, Marilyn Reed of Phoenix, Arizona, two grandsons, Jason and wife Kelly Reed and Erik Reed, three great grandchildren, Conner, Spencer and Bailey. Family will receive friends Friday, May 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at Haven Height Baptist Church, Fort Smith prior to the service. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2020 at Haven Heights Baptist Church, Fort Smith with interment with Military Honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fort Smith under the directive of the Covid 19 rules and regulations. Pallbearers will be Jason Reed, Erik Reed, Conner Reed, Spencer Reed, Mark Wilson and Scott Wells. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bailey Reed.
