Omer Cecil & Helen Ruth Dowdy Reed. August 4, 1943 he married
Clara Mae Smithson at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar., both being residents
there.
Davis registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
He enlisted in the US Army January 26, 1943 and served until September 18, 1945.
Nothing more is found about his service except in his biography below.
Davis Barton Reed passed away January 6, 1985 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. His
burial was in Forest Park Cemetery there.
