Charles Marion Ray was born October 11, 1914 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Willis Marion & Alice Melenda Cox Ray. Charles married Lenne Flanagan Lucy March 8, 1950 in Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. They divorced November 24, 1959 in Sebastian Co., Arkansas. Charles registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Oakdale, California. He enlisted April 11, 1941 in the Army Air Force and served until October 15, 1945. His final rank was PFC. March 3, 1977 Charles passed away at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. His burial was in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
