Charles Marion Ray was born October 11, 1914 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Willis Marion & Alice Malinda Cox Ray. March 8, 1950 he married Lenne F. Lucy at Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. October 16, 1940 Charles registred for the military draft at Oakdale, California. He enlisted with the Air Force April 11, 1941 and served until October 15, 1945. His rank was Pfc. Charles passed away March 3, 1977 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Arkansas. His burial was in the Fort Smith National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Arkansas.
