David George Plummer was born February 2, 1924 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
David Garland, Jr. & Mary Viola Eacret Plummer. His biography below
mentions a wife Margie and a son but no marriage record has been found.Some
information on line says David was a "Jr." but I do not find that. His father
David Garland was a "Jr".
David enlisted in the US Navy. His final rank was Mm 3c. More is in his biography below. He was killed in
action April 22, 1944. His final burial was in the Fort Smith, Ar. National
Cemetery July 13, 1948.
