Paul Samuel Pittman 1912-1997
Paul Samuel Pittman was born September 5, 1917 in LeFlore Co., Oklahoma to
Charles Farrow & Nancy Elizabeth Shockley Pittman. July 2, 1936
Paul married Alice Mabel Gunter, both being residents of Hackett, Sebastian Co.,
Arkansas.
Although Paul spent considerable time in the military before and during WWII the
records were not found except for 1 Navy muster below. It was from the Construction
Battalions Naval Costruction Training Center at Camp Peary Williamsburg, Va.
It states he has been promoted to a MM2c from S1c and that he enlisted at the Navy
Recruiting Station at Little Rock, Ar on October 29, 1943 and was recevied from
there on Nov 8, 1943. Any other information about his service is in his biography
below. After returning from the war his residence was at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Ar.
Paul Samuel Pittman passed away March 4, 1997 at Fort Smith, Ar and is buried
in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery there.
