Ray Felle Perkins was born August 12, 1919 in Logan County, Arkansas to
Frank Douglas & Lettie Lulu Cross Perkins. April 7, 1942 he
married Libby Irene Heavner at Little Rock Arkansas.
According to the marriage record he was at Camp Robinson in Little Rock, Ar. at
that time.
Ray registered for the military draft at Waldron, Scott Co., Ar. October
16, 1940. According on information on his marriage record he served with
Co A 71 Bn 15 Regt. US Army. No enlistment date has been found.
His last rank was Sgt.
Ray Felle Perkins passed away January 4, 2005 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co, Ar.
His burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1 and #2, Scott County, Arkansas,
January 5, 2005
