Carl Wendell Patterson was born February 15, 1915 in Diamond Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar.
to Charles Bunyan and Gertrude Beam Patterson.
September 28, 1935 he married Mary Kathryn Little at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co.,Ar. where they both resided.
October 15, 1940 Carl registered for the military draft at the Junion High
School in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army March 3,
1944 and served until January 24, 1946. His final rank was TSgt.
Carl Wendell Patterson passed away December 1, 2003. His burial was
in the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
