Walter Medford Parsons was born March 30, 1915 at Hartley, Polk Co., Ar. to William Smiley & Victoria Abbigale Carter Parsons. August 5, 1933 he married Irene Smoot, both residing in Athens, Howard Co., Ar. No draft registration cards have been found for him. He enlisted in the US Army December 3, 1942 and served until December 6, 1945. Nothing more is known about his service. Walter Medford Parson died Thursday, June 7, 1979 at a Fort Smith Hospital.
