Mary died January 9, 1934 at Barling, Sebastian Co. Ar. Jan 6, 1936 Arlie,While residing at Central, Sebastian Co. Ar. married Florence May Smith from Fort Smith, Ar. (Florence may have had a previous marriage. There is a divorce recorded in Pulaski Co., Ar. for a Florence May Smith and Fred G. Smith. Fred G Smith married Florence Palez from Pulaski Co,,m Ar, in 1929). July 13, 1939 Arlie and Florence were divorced in Sebastian Co., Ar. Arlie's next marriage was to Billie E. unknown from Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Arlie and Billie E. moved to California together along with a sister of Billie's, Cora Stovall from Fort Smith, Ar. I am not sure Arlie ever served in the military. I have no "proof" that he did. Arlie registered for the miltary draft at the post officce in Portersille West Tulare, Califonia. Portersville being his place of residence. There is no date on the draft card. His contact name on the card was Mr. William Henry Odom in Barling, Sebastian Co., Ar. and he states he is leaving for Arkansas in 5 days. Arlie Ray Odom passed away September 15, 1957 in Modesto, Stanislaus County, Ca. and is buried in Oak Valley Cemetery at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. .
