William Andrew Neighbors, Jr.

William Andrew Neighbors, Jr. was born November 12, 1920 at Jenny Lind, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
William Andrew Sr. & Lilly A Gilham Neighbors. September 29, 1951 he
married Hazel Bell Lloyd Chajjaell at Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar.
William enlisted in the US Army July 13, 1842 and served until October 18, 1945.
He re-enlisted and served a total of 30 years. On the 1950 Rogers Township, Sebastian Co., Ar. his occuption
is - "inspector for the US Army". Nothing more is known about his service.
William Andrew Neighbors, Jr. passed away October 2, 1978 in the hospital at
Dardanelle, Yell County, Arkansas. His burial was in the Douglass Cemetery at Jenny
Lind, Arkansas.

Funeral for William A. Neighbors, Jr. of Russellville, who died Monday
at a Dardanelle hospital will be at 2 pm Friday in McConnell Memorial
Chapel. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery at Jenny Lind by McConnell
Funeral Home.
He was a heavy-equipment operator and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife Hazel, one daughter Pamella England of Tulsa, two sons, Danny of the Home and Michael of Russellville, two sisters, Mrs Ruth Price of Fort Smith and
Mrs. Betty Lindell of Spokane Washington, one brother, James Neighbors of Jenny Lind and
Eight grandchildren.
