Roy Eugene Neighbors was born May 23, 1916 in Jenny Lind, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
William Andrew & Lilly A Gilham Neighbors. He married Juanita Lois
Lowery from Paris, Logan Co. Arkansas No marriage document has been found.
Roy registered for the military draft October 16, 1930 in Fresno, California.
He enlisted in the US Army at Camp Beale Marysville, California. His residence at that
time was Contra Costa, California. He states he had completed 1 year of high school and
his civil occupation was "Skilled boilermakers". His rank was He served until July 16, 1946.
Nothing more is known about his time in the service.
Roy Eugene Neighbors passed away September 22, 1972 at Wheeler, Texas. His
burial was in Douglas Cemetery, Jenny Lind, Sebastian Co., Ar.
