Raymond Dewitt Murphy

Raymond Dewitt Murphy was born June 17, 1922 in South Sebastian County to
William Forest & Lena James Murphy. Marcj 18, 1946 he married
Lilly Walker, both being residents of Hackett, Sebastian Co., Ar.
September 15, 1942 Raymond enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock, Arkansas. He
states he has completed 4 years of high school and his civil
occupation is General farmers. He had one Hospital Admittance Card dated
April 1944 with the diagnosis being Pneumonia. He was released the same month.
No discharge date from the military has been found.
Raymond Dewitt Murphy passed away February 5, 1993 with his burial being
in Slaytonville Cemetery at Slayonville, Sebabastian Co., Ar.
