Bobby Joe Martin was born January 22, 1926 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Thomas Trammel & Mildred Cora Marley Martin. December 5. 1947 he
married Patricia Jewel Preston from Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. The marriage was in
Sebastian County, where Bobby Joe resided. There is another Bobbie Joe Martin
from Fort Smith a couple of years difference in age not to be confused with this
Bobbie Joe.
The only draft card to be found is one he filled out after his discharge from the
Navy from earlier service. The story of his military time is found in the

Bobby Joe Martin passed away July 17, 2008 with burial in Forest Park
Cemetery in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
