Dempsey H. Morris
1921-2002
Dempsey H. Morris was born May 25, 1921 at Gowen, Latimer, Oklahoma to
Frederick & Delphia Mae Bacom Morris. July 5, 1968 he married
Mrs. Zelma Lee Dugan Clark at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
On the 1950 census he is living in Mississippi Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar. He
is single working as a mill worker at the sawmill.
October 10, 1942 Dempsey enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock, Arkansas. He
states he has a grammar school educatin and is a farm hand. He served until January
11, 1946. His final rank was Pfc. Nothing more is found about his service.
Dempsey H. Morris passed away July 18, 2002 at Midland, Sebastian Co., Ar.
with his burial being in the Slaytonville Cemetery at Slatonville, Sebastian Co., Arkansas.
