Wayne Wardell Moreton was born October 30, 1922 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Morris Morgan & Bertha Ann Snow Moreton. May 22, 1941 he married Anna Lavada Baskin
at Fort Smith, Arkansas where they both resided.
June 30, 1942 Wayne registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Arkansas. He
enlisted in the US Army January 23, 1943 and served until October 6, 1945. His
final rank was Ssgt. More about his service is found in the biography below.
Wayne Wardell Moreton passed away April 26, 1996 at Fort Smith. His burial
was in the National Cemetery there.
