Thomas Leland Moore, Sr. was born November 2, 1923 at St. Louis, Missouri to
Virgil Thomas & Thelma Irene Mayfield Moore. March 21, 1946 he
married Fritzie Ellyn Anders at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
Thomas registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co.,
Ar. He enlisted in the US Air Force, then called Army Air Corps. His biography
below tells about his service in the Air Force and that he was a POW in Germany.
Nothing more is known about his service.
Thomas Leland Moore, Sr. passed away May 21, 1998 with his burial being in the
Fort Smith National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Arkansas.
