Robert Sidney Mitchellwas born June 12, 1922 at Mansfield, Sebastian Cc., At to
Edward Lee & Pearl Louisa Smith Mitchell. Just before entering
the service he applied for a marriage license to Iva Lorene Howard
in Sebastian Co., Ar. on September 26, 1942
Robert registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at Sebastian Co., Ar.
He states he had lost his right eye. He enlisted in the US Army October 31, 1942 and
served until Otober 18, 1943. Nothing more is known about his service. In 1950
he says his occupation is Building Houses.
July 30, 2005 Robert passed away at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma. Burial was in
Memorial Park Cemetery there.
