Ivory Edgar Mitchell was born in Arkansas on September 29, 1926 to
Edward Lee & Pearl Louisa Smith Mitchell. October 14, 1946 he
married Evelyn Marie Barnes from Parkin, Crross Co., Ar. He live at Mansfield,
Sebastian Co., Ar. at that time. March 6, 1954 they were divorced in Scott Co.,
Arkansas. September 15, 1954 he married Zella Mae Waddle at Van Buren, Crawford Cco.,
Oklahoma.
December 28, 1944 Ivory enlisted in the US Army at Camp Josepth T Robinson at
Little Rock, Arkansas. He states he has a grammar school education and is a
farmer. Nothing more is known about his service.
Ivory Edgar Mitchell passed away August 3, 2016 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co,
Arkansas. His burial was in Steep Hill Cemetey there.
