Lawrence Paul Meghee

Lawrence Paul Meghee was born March 6, 1921 at Natural Dam, Crawford Co., Ar. His
parents names are unknown. He is 9 years old on the 1930 census living
with his grandparents Wm A. and Mandy Amanda Mcgehee in Upper, Sebastian
Co., Ar. In 1040 he is living with Floyd and wife Berly O'Neal at
Nat Osburon, Sebastian Co., Ar. His is listted as a nephew. On the
1950 census he is in Bass Little, Sebastian Co., Ar. still living with
Floyd O'Neal and wife.
April 10, 1947 he married Virginia Sullivan of Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. His
residence at that time was Excelisor, Sebastian Co., Ar.
June 11, 1955 he married Hazel E. Everett at Stanislaus, California.
Lawrence enlisted in the US Army July 13, 1942 at Little Rock, Arkansas.
His civil occupation was general farmers, his education was grammar school. His
discharge date was January 30, 1946. Nothing more is known about his
time in the service.
Lawrence Paul Meghee passed away Deember 9, 2006 at Oakdale, Stanislaus,
California. His burial was in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in
Santa Nella, Merced Co., California.
