Raymond Rudolph Matzek was born February 5, 1907 in Rogers, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Vincent Hugo & Georgia Vola Weaver Matzek. The father was born
in Austria. August 9, 1941 he married Octavia Rose from Fort Smith,
Arkansas.
Raymond enlisted in the US Army August 10, 1942 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He states
he is divorced without dependents. A divorce record has not been found. He has a grammar school education and his
civil occupation is mining. His actual date of service was August 24, 1942. He
served until December 3, 1945.
Raymond Rudolph Matzek passed away Janurary 24, 1974. His burial was in
the Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
