James Burnell Martin was born April 9, 1913 Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
James Buford & Lela Williams Martin. January 1947 he married
Corinne Elizabeth Ridley at New Orleans, Louisiana.
July 1, 1930 he enlisted in the US Navy. His last discharge date is unkonwn.

at the bottom of the page. The clipping at the bottom of the page is not
correct. He did not servee in WWI as he was born in 1913 although he Did
serve before WWII. One of his re-enlistemts was April 6 or 9, 1936 while
serving in China. March 20, 1943 is another re-enlistment date. September 9,
1946 another enlistment date from his musters below.
James Burnell Martin passed away June 8, 1961 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co.,
Ar. His burial was in Rose Lawn Park Cemetery at Fort Smith.
