Warren Edward Leonard was born November 7, 1922 at Greeenwood, Sebastian Co.,
Ar. to Robert Chauncey & Clyde Ailean Edwards Leonard.
June 7, 1947 he married Marcille Loma Cloptan from Huntington, Sebastian Co.,
Ar. His resdience was Greenwood, Ar.
Warren registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at New Haven,
Connecticut. He was employed there by Winchester Repeating Arms Co. His address
was later changed to Greenwood, Ar. Exact enlistment and discharge dates
have not been found for him.
Warren Edward Leonard passed away February 23, 2014. His burial was in
Gilliam Cemetery at Witcherville, Sebastian Co., Ar.

Reverend Warren Edward Leonard, 91, of Fort Smith, Arkansas attended
the ultimate worship service on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
He was born in Greenwood, Arkansas to Robert and Clyde
(Edwards) Leonard.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Reverend Leonard was a
retired Baptist minister and a longtime member of Temple Baptist
Church. He was a past wholesale supply assistant manager of
Winnelson, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marcille Leonard, granddaughter
Courtney Dawn Leonard, two sisters, Ailean Gotwalt and Venita
Vineyard and one brother, Robert Charles Leonard.
Funeral services are tentatively set for 10:00 AM Friday, February 28,
2014 at Temple Baptist Church of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Burial will follow at Gilliam Cemetery in Greenwood,
Arkansas under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral
Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by one daughter, Shirley Salmon and her husband
David of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four sons, Eddie Leonard and his wife
Connie of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Gary Leonard and his wife Patti
of Greenwood, Arkansas, Ronnie Leonard and his wife Joyce of
Hernando, Mississippi and Terry Leonard of Fort Smith, Arkansas;
his wife, Carol Leonard of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister,
Betty Williams and her husband Hurcel of Abbott, Arkansas; a sister
in law, Genevieve Leonard of Fort Smith, Arkansas; seven grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Aaron Leonard, Corey Baker, Brian Leonard, Corey Acord,
Tyler Acord and Nathan Roberts.
