Herman C. Hobbs was born Jan 31, 1922 in Island Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Jake and Jessie Crook Hobbs. Feb. 15, 1943 Herman married Maxine Manes
in Franklin Co., Ar.
Herman registered for the military draft Jan 30, 1942 in Lavaca, Sebastian
Co., Ar where he resided. I have found no records of his service except his Registration Card.
Herman died Sept 30, 2007 (aged 85) in Fort Smith Sebastian Co., Ar. and was buried
at the Lavaca City Cemetery, Lavaca, Sebastian County, Ar

Mr. Herman Hobbs, was the son of Jake and Jessie (Crook)Hobbs.
He was married to Maxine Hobbs. Herman was a Christian and worked with Gideon International (prison ministry and handing out many, many Bibles to children in schools and on the streets of many major cities. He worked hard for the LORD.
Mr. Hobbs was 85 years old when he went to be with Jesus and he will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
Herman was a Southern Baptist by choice and saved by God's GRACE.
