Everett Oliver Hill was born August 23, 1914 in Franklin Co., Ar. to
John Wesley & Myrtle Grace Burcham Hill. He married Mattie
Bell Shafer. No marriage record has been found.
Everett registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Ar. He enlisted in NOAA December 21, 1942 and served there until
September 21, 1945. On the 1950 Fort Smith census he is listed with his
occupation as "professional baseball player".
Everett Oliver Hill passed away September 30, 2002. His burial was in the
National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
