Phinos Ralph Hawthorne was born July 23, 1921 at Bonanza, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Hester William & Annie Evans Hawthorne. November 1, 1941 he
married Helen Louise Decker at Sebastian Co., Ar. Both were residents of Jenny Lind,
Sebastian Co., Ar.
February 16, 1942 Phinos registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army September 9, 1942 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He
was discharged December 20, 1945. Nothing more is found about his service.
Phinos Ralph Hawthorne passed away May 2at 9,1987 and was buried in
Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Los Angeles Co., California. No marker
has been found.
