William Jesse Harris was born August 21, 1917 in Sebastian Co., Ar. to James "Jim" & Ida Irene Sivils Harris. Ernest registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Navy January 30, 1944 and served until June 4, 1946. Ernest passed away May 10, 2004. His burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
