William Jesse Harris was born August 21, 1917 in Arkansas to James "Jim" ^ Ida Irene Sivils Harris. December 16, 1939 he married Marie Gillet. Both were residents of Lavaca, Sebastian Co,. Ar. William registered for the miitary draft October 16, 1940 at Island, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army March ;7, 1944 and served until December 15, 1944. Nothing more is known about his service. William passed away June 4, 2010 at Bakersville, Kern Co. California. His burial was in Shafter Memorial Park at Shafter, Kern County, California,
