Raymond Clayton Harris was born January 19, 1923 at Island, Sebastian Co., Ar. to James "Jim" & Ida Irene Sivils Harris. He married Dora Faye Tubbs in Logan County, Arkansas. They both resided at the State Sanatorium there. Raymond registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army March 9, 1943 and served until December 10, 1945. Nothing more is known about his service. Raymond passed away April 14, 1992 with his burial being in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
