Alvin Jesse Lee Goins was born September 24, 1917 at Excelsior, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
William Henry & Mattie Candice Clark Goines. February 24, 1939 he
married 15 year old Virginia Bass in Sebastian Co., Ar. They were both residents of Fort Smith,
Arkansas at that time. They divorced March 20, 1944. He married Naomi Dean Bailey
in Tulsa, Oklahoma February 3, 1945. They divorced July 21, 1964 in Sebastian Co,,, Ar,
His 3rd marriage was to Betty Jean Lemaster Sines.
Alvin enlisted in the US Army November 16, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He states
on his enlistment he is separated with dependents, he has completed 4 years of high
school. His civil occupation was "semiskilled general woodworking". Nothing
more is found about his time in the military.
Alvin Jesse Lee Goins passed away October 18, 2016 at Fort Smith, Seastian
Co., Ar. His burial was in the National Cemetery there.
