Herbert Lee Gleason was born November 21, 1923 in South Sebastian Co., Ar. to

Jim Ann Kersey of Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar. His residence was in Greenwood Sebastian
Co. Ar. January 28, 1959 she filed for divorce in Sebastian Co.
Herbert registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 at Fort Smith,
Sebastian Co., Ar.
An enlistment date has not been found. His discharge date was December 10, 1945.
Nothing more is found about his service.
Herbert Lee Gleason died in a mining accident in New Mexico. There are clippings
about it below. His burial was in Carlsbad, Eddy Co New Mexico.
