Meral Odell Flanagan was born August 26, 1923 in Sebastian Co., Ar. to Wheeler & Hilduth Valentine Crook Flanagan. April 27, 1941 he married Emogene Eubanks from Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. The marriage was in Sebastian Co. They divorced December 12, 1958. Odell registered for the military draft June 30, 1942 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army February 23, 1945 and served until February 6, 1946. Odell passed away August 11, 1978. His burial was in the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
