Rubert Lee Flake was born December 14, 1915 in Johnson Co., Ar. to Alexander Valentine & Mattie Lee Sandlin Flake. July 2, 1938 he married Anna Bo Cross Polsygrove from Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. The marriage was in Johnson Co., Ar. Rupert registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Lavaca, in Big Creek, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Navy June 12, 1945. Nothing more is known about his service. Rupert passed away September 12, 1988 in Fresno, Fresno, California. No burial site has been found.
