R.V. Ely & Jewell Ora McDonald Elmore. September 9, 1946 he married
Billy Goodwin from Abbott, Scott, Arkansas. Byers was living at Mansfield,
Sebastian Cc., Ar. at that time and that was their marriage county.
September 29, 1943 Byers registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Arkansas. He enlisted in the US Army December 18, 1943 at Little Rock Arkansas.
Nothing more is known about his service.
December 30, 1993 James Byers Elmore passed away in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
His burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Scott Co., Arkansas.
