Herman Emery Elkins, Sr. was born May 15, 1913 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Henry Robert & Elsie Linnet Head Eklins from Bloomer and Greenwood in
Sebastian Co. He was issued a marriage
license with Freda Mae Skelton February 23, 1955 in Sebastian Co., Ar.
October 16, 1940 Herman registered for the military draft at the Junior High School
at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army March 3, 1944 and
served until December 20, 1945. His last rank was Tec 4. More about his service

Herman Emery Elkins, Sr. passed away June 30,1996. His burial was in
the National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Arkansas.
