Jerrel Lee Douglas, Sr. was born January 29, 1925 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Jonathan Lee & Ethel Caroline Piercy Dean Douglas. December 16, 1942 he married Dorothy Helen Spiva at Lavaca, both being residents there. Jerrel registered for the military draft January 29, 1943 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He served with the US Marines. No other information or dates have been found. According to his draft card he had an honorable discharge. Jerrel passed away February 3, 1991 Selma, Alabama. His burial was in Oak Valley Cemetery at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar. The Fresno Bee Fresno, California February 6, 1991
