William Davis Dotson was born July 20, 1922 at Arbuckle Island, Sebastian Co., Ar. to William David "Bill" & Lona Ann Woods Dotson. June 30, 1945 he married Ida Putnam at South Gate, California. William registered for the miitary draft July 3, 1942 at Wasso, California. He enlisted in the US Army. No date has been found. William passed away November 29, 2016 His burial was at Roseburg National Cemetery in Roseburg, Oregon.. ================================ William Davis Dotson July 20, 1922 ~ November 29, 2016 William Davis Dotson of Junction City Oregon passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday Nov. 29th; he was 94. William was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Ida, who passed away on May 4th of this year. William is survived by a sister, Hilda Ruth Waits from Hillsboro, TX; daughters, Virginia Wilson from Oregon, Barbara O'Connell from California, sons, John Dotson from Colorado, William Dotson from Oregon, Steve Dotson from California, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren and one on the way. William and Ida will be set to rest at the Roseburg Veterans Cemetery in Oregon.
