Nathan Dodd
1918-2006
Nathan Dodd was born December 9, 1918 at Hartford, Sebastian Co. Ar. to
Claud Leland & Lois Brinks Dodd. November 2, 1940 he married
Ivanella Elizabeth Albin at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. where they both lived.
Nathan enlisted in the US Army August 8, 1942, another record says August 22,
and served until December 12, 1945. His final rank was Tech 5. More about his
time in the service is found below in his hiography.
Nathan Dodd passed away January 17, 2006 with burial at the National Cemetery at
Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.

Nathan Dodd was born on Dec. 9, 1918, in Hartford to Claude L. and Lois
Brinks Dodd. He passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at Reunion Plaza
in Texarkana, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife
of 63 years, Ivanelle Albin Dodd; his brother, Brinks; and sister,
Helen McAdams. He was a lifelong member of Goddard United Methodist
Church.
