John Arthur Delaloye was born January 19, 1924 in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
to August Francis Sr. & Gladys Ruth Moore Delaloye. November 8, 1952
he married Rose Zita Benz from Paris, Logan Co., Ar. where they were married.
John's residence at that time was Humas, Moore, Texas.
John enlisted in the Air Force February 23, 1943 and served until October 21, 1945.
He served as a B-17 radio operator assigned to the 390th BG 569th BS. T/Sgt Delaloye
flew with the crew of Lt. McKee on the "Flying Fortress", a Boeing B-17. They
flew 35 missions between April 27 and August 12, 1944.
John Arthur Delaloye passed away February 27, 1997 at Bartlesville,
Washington Co., Oklahoma. His burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery there.
